ok - so we are still in Southern California :) and I am still sick, but trekking along...trying to catch up...I still have editing etc to do with the alice in wonderland extravaganza before listing items for sale and posting everything - but keep your eyeballs peeled for that soon.  Some of the pics even made it to Martha Stewart! How is that nothing sells though? :(   Now that's another time - so back to party planning...something I love doing, and dabbled in a bit many moons ago...

Now my bro is getting married and the engagement party cards need to be chosen - which of course will set the tone for the entire event :) so here are some great places to go and some gorgeous inspiration boards for my wonderful soon to be sister in law Michelle :)    Here's a classic wedding ensemble - just to start getting us in the mood...

Love this sweet set, the beautiful blooms, the soft, pastel colors, and everyone’s love for anything looking fresh!  Here’s a little bit of pink inspiration for your Monday!

Flights of Fancy is the gorgeous wedding blog of Betsy White Stationery Boutique. BWSB provides lovely wedding stationery, monogram logos, personal stationery, baby and party designs. I particularly love the Color Palettes section on Flights of Fancy. It would be a nice inspiring color or wedding reference to bookmark.

Love the retro look to this - a Belmont Shores wedding for sure *wink*

Amy Atlas is an event planner specializing in high end dessert tables. Her work is truly amazing. The amount of detail that goes into each table is breath taking. She’s innovative, creative and a true inspiration! You can view more of her work on her blog, Sweet Designs.

If you are looking for a more graphic/ masculine approach to invites and paper goods, I would recommend Raspberry Creations by Rasideas. Everything is customizable and you can choose from multiple color options.

Here's one of  my favorite designs, but there are plenty of other styles to check out over on to the Raspberry shop, Rasideas. And also visit Raspberry creations on papernstitch.

 Speaking of invites and announcements...

So it looks like the cost of stamps is going to be increased to 46 cents come January 2011, meaning you might want to buy those Forever stamps if you're going to be sending your invites out after that date. But if you'll be sending them out before that, how freaking adorable are these Love: King and Queen of Hearts stamps? The illustrations are inspired by 18th century French playing cards. Here's hoping they make these in 46 cent versions come January.
